Hi! I’m Alyssa

I help people who are tired of feeling overwhelmed, on-edge, tired, and lost burned out. I’m passionate about helping my clients with stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and life transitions, including the transition of having a baby. We work together to gain insight and make positive changes.

I strive to create counseling environment that isn’t scary or intimidating. I know from my own mental health journey that facing yourself, your thoughts, and your feelings can be really hard. I am to provide compassion, support and new perspectives as we walk together towards feeling better.

My practice is full virtual and we will meet for therapy through a secure video platform. We meet wherever you are, a place that is most comfortable and convenient for you.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, hanging with my foster dog, boating and all things water.

My Approach & Values

I believe that everyone can make positive changes and grow at any time in their lives. I believe that while our experiences shape us and the way we think or act, our experiences do not define us. Starting therapy is a big step on your journey and finding the right therapist can feel like a daunting task. I offer a free phone consultation to see if I would be the right fit for you, and if I’m not, that’s okay! Part of what makes therapy effective is finding someone you feel comfortable with, someone you feel you are able to be your true self. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, non-judgmental space for my clients. I believe laughter can be therapeutic and so can a good cry.
